HKMB HUB's Chairman, Greg Belton has been appointed a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (CVO) by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in recognition of his personal service to Her Majesty and her family, most notably as International Chairman for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, a position previously held by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh. This award is the highest honor the Queen can bestow on a Canadian citizen.

The Royal Victorian Order is a dynastic order of knighthood and a house order of chivalry that recognizes distinguished personal service to the Queen. Appointments to the Order are granted at the Queen's sole discretion without ministerial advice.

Greg’s investiture will be held at Buckingham Palace with Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth on March 10th, 2010.

Greg is also a Knight of the Holy Sepulchre (KHS) a Papal Order; and he received the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal in 2003.

Congratulations Greg on this is a huge honour. It is well deserved and your colleagues are all very proud of you!
