Anita leads HKMB's Asian Practice team. She has extensive experience in the property/casualty market and manages a diverse book of business, that includes real estate owners, property managers, manufacturers and hospitality businesses.
Anita started her insurance brokering career with Sedgwick Chartered Insurance Brokers in 1975 and became a Marketing Manager in 1982. She joined Lombard General Insurance in Hong Kong in 1986 as assistant to the Assistant General Manager and then as Marketing Manager. She immigrated to Toronto in 1990.
From 1990 to 1996, Anita worked for Lombard Canada, a major property and casualty carrier. She specialized in broker management and acted as chief coordinator to the Tokio Marine Insurance Management Facility. She joined HKMB as an Account Manager in 1996.
Anita obtained her Associateship of The Insurance Institute of Canada (A.I.I.C. – a designation equivalent to Chartered Insurance Professional or C.I.P) in 1995.
Anita is active in the Chinese Community in Toronto. From 2004 - 2006, she was President of the Hong Kong Canada Business Association – Toronto Chapter and currently volunteers for other community service organizations in Toronto.
Anita was born and educated in Hong Kong. She and her family immigrated to Canada in 1990.
