Vice-Chairman
Bruce has had 50 years experience in the insurance industry in Toronto and the Province of Ontario during which time he has worked as an Underwriter, Field Representative, Company Manager and entered the insurance brokerage business in 1966.
During his brokerage experience he was President and owner of his own brokerage for 25 years at which time he was appointed Chairman and then Vice Chairman.
Bruce's last insurance company job was as Manager of the Montreal Office of the Travelers Insurance Company. He joined a small brokerage in 1966, which, eventually through several mergers and purchases, became the largest privately owned brokerage in Canada.
Bruce has experience in every branch of the insurance industry and is responsible for the management of several large accounts including the first part of the Ontario Government to be privatized, Technical Standards & Safety Authority. In 1999 Bruce acquired the Electrical Safety Authority, which is part of Ontario Hydro which was privatized.
Bruce obtained his education in Toronto attending Vaughan Road Collegiate and continues updating his education in the insurance business on a monthly basis.
