Gord joined HKMB HUB International in 1987 and is a key member of our team with management responsibility for some of our largest accounts.
He has over 30 years experience in the insurance industry during which time he has worked as an Underwriter, Risk Engineer and Account Manager. Gord’s industry sector expertise lies with property managers/developers and he is knowledgeable about construction as well as home builders .
After his initial training as an underwriter with Hartford Insurance Company, Gord advanced to the position of Marketing Representative/Risk Inspector. Before he left Hartford, Gord held the position of Executive Underwriter handling Hartford’s largest and most complex accounts. Gord has a complete understanding of all insurance lines and is an associate of the Insurance Institute of Canada (A.I.I.C.).
Gord is active in his community as well having been a coach of local sports teams and Past President of Kinsmen. Currently, he sits on the fundraising steering committee of Families for a Secure Future, an organization that works with individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
