Mike joined HKMB in 2000 as Claims Team Manager bringing with him his considerable experience as a claims adjuster. Having worked on both sides of the table, Mike's perspective is invaluable in advocating clients' interests.
Mike began his career in 1989 with Crawford Adjusters Canada, the Canadian arm of international claims adjusting firm Crawford and Company, where he ultimately rose to the position of Property/Casualty Unit Manager. He left the firm to join HKMB. His particular strengths are in the areas of General and Products Liability losses, and claims related to Commercial Property, Directors & Officers Liability and Professional Liability.
Mike is an Associate of the Insurance Institute of Canada (A.I.I.C.) and has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto. He has served as Education Chairman and Director of the Canadian Independent Adjusters Association.
Mike coaches junior sports programs and plays golf, hockey and squash. He and his family live in Toronto.
