A seasoned professional in HKMB HUB International's construction practice, Nelly specializes in complex coverage's required by various types of contractors, including Contractor’s Errors and Omissions, Contractor’s Pollution Liability, Contractor’s Equipment coverage, Installation Floater, Builders Risk, Wrap-Up Liability, and General insurance. She is also very experienced in many other lines of insurance. Her knowledge and devotion to client satisfaction have been the key to her success and have resulted in numerous client referrals.

Nelly is active in various construction industry associations of which HKMB HUB is a member, notably the Canadian Construction Association (CCA), Toronto Construction Association (TCA), Canadian Association of Women in Construction (CAWIC) and the Ontario General Construction Association (OGCA), to name a few. She is currently a member of the TCA’s Trade Contractor’s Committee.

Nelly began her insurance career in 1983 at HKMB HUB. She joined our commercial practice in 1985 and obtained her broker’s license in 1987. Nelly has achieved the Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) designation from the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada and is in the process of completing the Canadian Risk Management designation. She is a member of the Insurance Professionals Association and has conducted various seminars, both internally and externally, focusing on Liability and Builders Risk.
