Paula became a member of the HKMB HUB team in August 2000 bringing with her over 20 years of experience across the insurance industry.
She began her career underwriting personal risks with Scottish & York and Constitution Insurance Company, and then in 1986, transitioned into commercial broking with Sedgewick Inc. and later Vince Tomenson Dickerson Insurance (Magnes). During her tenure, Paula held various positions, comprising systems implementation, people training, business development and large commercial portfolio management.
Paula’s broad expertise and experience in insurance and business management is a considerable asset to HKMB HUB and, more particularly, to the clients she serves. She currently leads our Food Services Practice and ever growing complex Miscellaneous Professional Liability Practice.
One of Paula’s key accomplishments has been the design and implementation of an HKMB HUB best practice: a process for conducting insurance due diligence in the context of acquisitions that includes analysis and reporting.
Paula is active in a number of client related industry associations and frequently attends food safety seminars where she often presents on the topic of new insurance products.
She lives in Mississauga with her husband and two sons and is actively involved in her community.
