Paula has been with HKMB HUB International since 2000 and has over 20 years of experience comprising of both the underwriting and broking side of the insurance industry. Her expertise in a wide range of insurance coverage's is a considerable asset to HKMB HUB and, more particularly, the clients she serves. She currently leads our complex Professional Liability Practice and ever growing Food Services Practice.
Recently, Paula was instrumental in assisting one of our American broker partners whose client was undertaking a large acquisition. In the course of that project, she developed a process and format for insurance due diligence analysis and reporting in the context of an acquisition that has become a best practice at HKMB HUB.
Paula began her career underwriting personal risks at Scottish & York Insurance Company and Constitution Insurance Company. She moved to the broker side as commercial account manager with Sedgwick Inc. and Vince Tomenson Dickerson Insurance.
Paula is active in a number of client related industry associations and frequently attends food safety seminars where she often presents on the topic of new insurance products.
Paula attended George Brown College. She is currently working toward her Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation.
She lives in Meadowvale Village with her husband and two sons and is actively involved in her community.
