Rick has over 25 years experience in the insurance industry in Toronto during which time he has worked as an Underwriter, Risk Engineer and Account Manager. Rick has also owned his own insurance brokerage firm.
After his initial training as an underwriter with Royal Insurance Company, Rick joined the Hartford Insurance Company as a Marketing Representative/Risk Inspector. He joined a major brokerage firm in 1981 where he was responsible for the development and servicing of large domestic and international accounts. This was Rick’s training ground in program design and risk management analysis.
Rick joined HKMB HUB International in 1993 and has since been a key member of our team, with management responsibilities for some of our largest accounts. He has a complete understanding of all insurance lines particularly more esoteric casualty risks. He currently manages a unit, specializing in Construction Risks, Environmental Liability, Real Estate, Long-Term Care Facilities, and Private Clubs. He is also involved with most Public Sector clients of the firm.
Rick is a fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP) and has achieved his Canadian Chartered Insurance Broker designation (CCIB).
He is involved extensively with the Association for Community Living which helps mentally challenged individuals realize their dreams.
