Senior Vice President & Partner
John manages a commercial practice area that has extensive expertise in Auto Parts Manufacturing, Beer & Alcohol manufacturing & distribution, U.S. & International operations, and complex Liability risks. He is directly involved in servicing a number of major commercial accounts.
Before joining HKMB HUB International in 1992, John was a Vice-President in the Canadian operations of an international broker. He worked there for 15 years in a variety of capacities.
With 30 years experience as an insurance broker, John has had extensive involvement with a variety of industries including manufacturing, distribution, retail and transportation, as well as sports, entertainment, and hi-tech. He also has extensive experience with international risks, as well as Directors & Officers Liability insurance.
John obtained his B.A. in Economics from the University of Western Ontario and has earned the Canadian Certified Insurance Broker (C.C.I.B.) designation. John has also served on the Board of Directors for the Toronto Insurance Brokers Association (TIC) for 5 years and is HKMB HUB's licensed representative in many of Canada’s provinces & territories.
John is actively involved in his community and he and his wife live in Toronto, Ontario with their daughter and son.
