Gather Your Thoughts
Every answer should be well thought out and presented in a logical manner. Start with the bigger picture and then break it down into details.
- What do you know about the insurance broking industry and why are you interested in a career in this industry?
- What do you know about HKMB? Our culture? What appeals to you about the firm and the culture?
- What motivates you?
- How would your peers describe you? How would a supervisor/manager in a previous job describe you?
- Is there a reason you feel that you are better suited for a particular practice area as opposed to another?
- What skills have you acquired, either through your work experience or extracurricular activities, that may be appropriate to the job for which you are applying? For example, leadership skills, team player, quantitative skills. Be prepared to articulate on them.
The interview process is a great opportunity to get information on HKMB, the industry, etc. Feel free to ask questions.
