HKMB HUB is pleased to offer an insurance program that provides coverage for Personal Trainers, Fitness Instructor Specialists, Group/ Class Fitness Instructors, Yoga Instructors, Pilates Instructors, Sport Conditioning Specialists, Wellness and Nutrition Specialists, Aquatic Fitness Trainers, Pre and Post Natal Fitness Specialists, Squash Instructors and Tennis Instructors. The program is restricted as follows:
- Instructor eligibility:
- over 18 years of age
- Canadian Resident
- Must be certified with ACE, ACSM, BCRPA, Body Harmonics, CANFIT, CALA, CCAA, CPTN, Helene Roy Pilates, IDEA, International Society of Yoga Education (ISYE), International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA), Manitoba Fitness Council, National Academy of Sports Medicine, NFLAC, OASES, OFC, Pilates Method Alliance (PMA), The Pilates Process, Sattva Yoga Shala and United Yoga Montreal, Second Wind Pilates Plus, Squash Canada, Stott Pilates, Tennis Canada or YMCA/ YWCA
- Individual policies are effective as of the date of purchase and extend for 12 months
- Premium is fully retained upon acceptance of payment (i.e., the premium will not be refunded if the policy is cancelled by the insured prior to its expiry date)
- Coverage applies only to Canada
- Coverage is not available for instruction of professional athletes
- Coverage is not extended to tanning beds
